Learn the 4 key steps to become eligible and access services through New Jersey's Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD):

✅ Determine Eligibility
✅ Complete the NJCAT Assessment
✅ Select a Support Coordination Agency
✅ Develop an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and Access Services

Support may include:
🏠 One-time rental assistance
🔑 Security deposits & move-in support
💡 Utility assistance
🤝 Housing stabilization services
📄 Direct payments to landlords

Eligible applicants must be:
✔️ 18 years or older
✔️ Low-income residents of Perth Amboy or Woodbridge
✔️ Currently experiencing housing instability

📣NEWS RELEASE: Disability Rights New Jersey announces the launch of a self-advocacy guide to empower students and parents with tools to navigate the notoriously complex special education system in New Jersey. Developed in response to an increasing demand for assistance, the Self-Advocacy Guide will enable families to advocate effectively for their children, ensuring all students with disabilities in New Jersey receive a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) that prepares them for full participation in society.
