The Summer Lunch Program successfully distributed 211 meals today to children aged 0-18 and pregnant women. We extend our sincere gratitude to April for assisting Ms. Susanne in the kitchen, to Charon from Arnold Magnetics Technologies Corporationfor her dining room service, and to Mccolloch Baker Insurance for their canteen support. The program's success is directly attributed to the commitment demonstrated by each volunteer. Notably, the Summer Lunch Program operates entirely through volunteer efforts, including Ms. Susanne, who manages ordering and cooking, Matt, who transports the canteen four days a week, and the numerous companies and individuals who contribute their time and resources. The program's operation is contingent upon the dedication of every volunteer. The Summer Lunch Program's reliance on volunteer support is noteworthy. Furthermore, the program is sustained through grants and public donations. Over the past 30 years, the community has consistently provided the necessary funds to operate the program. However, this year's donations are below expectations, and we kindly request your support. Donations can be mailed to 129 S Wayne St, Piqua, OH 45356 or brought to the office on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. @
