Why I’m the Best Candidate for Pioneer Village Council,
I’m the best candidate for village council because of my deep interest in financial stewardship and my proven track record of responsible money management. While I don’t hold a formal finance degree, my passion for financial literacy started at a young age. I was taught the value of hard work and the importance of managing money wisely by my parents and grandparents. Since earning my first dollar at age 10, I’ve been driven to make smart financial decisions and continually educate myself about investments, budgeting, and long-term planning.
Through discipline and dedication, I’ve become a 27-year-old homeowner, fully own two vehicles, and carry no debt. I don’t share this to boast, but to demonstrate the seriousness with which I approach financial matters. I’ve worked closely with a financial advisor to establish a retirement plan, ensuring long-term stability—not just for myself, but as a principle I believe in for community planning.
I understand that finances aren’t everything, but they are a critical part of making any community function effectively. Beyond numbers, I pride myself on being able to look at situations from multiple perspectives. I approach decisions with fairness, open-mindedness, and a genuine desire to serve the best interests of the entire village.
If given the opportunity to serve on the council, I will bring not only financial insight but also thoughtful, well-rounded decision-making to every discussion.

Hello everyone, I wanted to take a moment to share a little about myself for those who may not know me or my background. I am a lifelong resident of Pioneer and a 2017 graduate of North Central Schools. While at North Central, I was involved in both golf and FFA and was also a class officer. Through FFA, I showed animals at the Williams County Fair and was fortunate to earn both my State and American Degrees—an accomplishment achieved by less than 1% of members.

Building on the skills and education I gained in FFA, I began working part-time at Border View Farms, where I continue to be employed today. During high school, I also served as an explorer with the Pioneer Fire Department, where I remain an active member.

After graduation, I earned my EMT certification and volunteer firefighter certificate. In 2018, I began working at Williams County EMS, eventually moving into a full-time role. During that time, I also obtained my Firefighter I certification and my paramedic license. I proudly served with Williams County EMS until 2024, when I accepted a full-time position with Maumee Fire Department.

Although I stepped away from my full-time role at Williams County, I remain committed to serving my community. Today, I continue to volunteer as a first responder for both Williams County and Pioneer, working with our new Medic 7 ambulance.

Thank you all for taking the time to get to know who I am and where I came from. I look forward to serving you as the next Pioneer Village council member thank you for your support.

Hello everyone,

My name is Brock Zuver, and as some of you know, I am running for Pioneer Village Council in the upcoming election on November 4, 2025. I’d like to take a moment to share my vision and goals if I have the privilege of being elected.

My campaign motto is “Focusing on the Finances.” I believe that everyone in our community works hard for their money, and it’s my responsibility—if elected—to make sure the village uses those funds wisely and responsibly. While I know politics involves more than just money, financial stability is the foundation that allows everything else to succeed.

When I look at finances, I approach them in two ways: short-term and long-term.

Long-term investments are large projects or initiatives that require significant funding. These should only be pursued when there is a clear and feasible return on investment that benefits our community for years to come.

At the same time, we must maintain enough short-term flexibility to handle smaller projects or unexpected needs that arise along the way. Balancing these two priorities ensures that Pioneer remains financially strong, prepared for the future, and able to grow responsibly.

I want to treat the village’s finances as carefully as I treat my own. My goal is to make decisions that benefit not just today, but the generations of Pioneer residents to come.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, you have any additional questions feel free to reach out to me I hope to get them answered for you.

Hello, my name is Brock Zuver. I am 27 years old and proud to have called Pioneer home my entire life. While I may be young, I am well-versed in financial budgeting, planning, and investing. These skills are exactly why I want to play a part in shaping our community’s future.

On November 4th, I ask for your vote for Pioneer Village Council so that together we can “Focus on the Financials” for the people of Pioneer.
