Not only have we reached our goal, but our lovely donors have caused us to exceed it! We cannot thank you enough!! This money will heavily and positively impact our help at the park. 100% of the proceeds go straight to assisting the park with their needs. Thanks to the relentless work by our fundraising committee, we have secured a grant graciously given by Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation. They have given the 3-D Map Project $10,000!! This amazing contribution puts us over 80% of the way toward our $25,000 goal.

Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park contains 15 Native American mounds. Evidence suggests the mounds were both burial and ceremonial in purpose.

Take a hike with the Pinson Mounds Rangers! We will be hiking from the museum down to the boardwalk and learning about the beautiful fall colors that take over our park each fall. This hike is great for the whole family! Dogs are welcome!

We will be meeting outside the Park Museum

This hike is approximately 1.5 miles one way on a mostly flat paved trail.

Our Rangers recommend you bring:

-Closed toe shoes
-Water
-Weather appropriate clothing
-Dog Leash ( No dogs without a leash will be permitted on this hike)
Optional:

-Camera
-Apps Like INaturalist or Merlin
-Leaf Press Books
-Hiking Stick
