District 300 families and community members are invited to attend a Juneteenth Festival on Friday, June 19, from noon to 5 p.m. at Carpenter Park in Carpentersville.

🎉 Congratulations to Dundee-Crown High School junior Connor McCrate, Hampshire High School junior Magnus Murdent, and Jacobs High School junior Kyle Gilligan, who have each earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT exam!

The standardized college entrance exam measures skills in English, math, reading, and science. According to The Princeton Review, ACT statistics indicate that fewer than 0.2% of test-takers achieve the top score of 36 annually.

Please join us in applauding these students for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding academic achievement!

The 300 P.L.U.S. program is designed to support students ages 18 to 22 after high school and before they transition out of the district.

Congrats to our D300 Plus students who were recognized this past week. We are so proud of you. Not only were they ready for this, they showed us how much they have accomplished. They literally conducted the program themselves, how awesome. I wish I had advance notice I would have brought enough tissues as I bawled my eyes out. So glad I made the event.

So proud of these kids and another reason and privilege to serve this amazing community. Now go into the world and make a change. Looking forward to another amazing day today.
