Our condolences are with the family of former Pineville Police Chief John Edward “Johnny” Collins. We are honored to have had Johnny's service to our department.

It’s winter again, roads are slick and it’s still snowing. In an effort to conserve salt we are only salting the hills. If you can’t drive on flat ground with snow you shouldn’t be out. Stay safe out there and stay warm. Check on your elderly neighbors!

Today we are in the process of switching over our phone service at City Hall. This upgrade should resolve the issues we’ve recently experienced with our older system. Thank you for your patience!

The snow has been relentless overnight, we have done our best to keep the roadways clean but they are still dangerous to travel. Most of them are snow covered and those that aren’t, are ice.

Stay home and stay safe, check on your elderly neighbors as the temperatures drop.
