Jake is also one of our Junior members.
His future is bright!

Proud moment for the WCCTC'S Pre-Engineering program!

Our students are partnering WITH the Pineville Fire Department to design and 3D print durable carbon fiber door wedges that can be used by firefighters in the field. This project is a great example of students applying engineering, problem-solving, and manufacturing skills to support real community needs.

A special recognition goes to Jake Stewart, who has served as the lead student on the project from the very beginning. Jake has helped guide the design, testing, and production process while demonstrating outstanding leadership and dedication throughout the project.

We would also like to thank firefighters Mike Johnson and Robbie Bailey for working alongside our students and helping make this partnership possible. Their support, feedback, and collaboration have given our students an incredible opportunity to see how engineering and public service can work hand in hand to benefit the community.

We are extremely proud of everyone involved in this project and thankful for the opportunity to combine innovation, teamwork, and service through real-world engineering experiences.

🌿🔥 SPRING FIRE SEASON IS HERE – MARCH 1 THROUGH MAY 31 🔥🌿

The Spring Fire Season is now in effect across Wyoming County. As vegetation begins to dry out, wildfire risk increases significantly — especially during daylight hours.

Please remember:

🚫 No outdoor burning from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
👨‍🚒 All fires must be attended at ALL times.
🪵 Clear the area down to mineral soil for at least 10 feet around your fire.
💲 Violations can result in fines up to $1,000.

These laws are in place to protect our communities, homes, and firefighters. Each year, unattended or improperly managed fires lead to preventable brush and woodland fires across our county.

Let’s work together to keep Wyoming County safe this spring. If you see a wildfire or uncontrolled burn, call 911 immediately.

We are !

One County. One Mission. One Team.

Wyoming County isn’t divided by numbers—we’re united by purpose. Eight departments. One brotherhood. One commitment to serve. Different stations. Different apparatus. Even different truck colors. But when the tones drop, we stand as one team.

We are grateful for every department, every responder, and the brotherhood that makes Wyoming County stronger—together.

We truly wish a Happy New Year to our fellow departments! We cannot wait to see what 2026 has in store.
