This weekend, STAT EMS had the honor of revealing a specially designed ambulance dedicated to su***de awareness and prevention. This truck stands not only as a unit ready to serve our communities, but also as a lasting tribute to one of our own who we lost too soon.

We were humbled to share this moment with her family, who placed the final piece of the project—the stickers bearing her name—onto the truck themselves. That moment was a powerful reminder that this unit represents not just awareness, but her life, her service, and the lasting impact she made on those around her.

The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline displayed on the unit represents hope, support, and the message that no one has to face their struggles alone. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and as EMS professionals, we see firsthand the importance of reaching out and supporting one another.

This ambulance will serve as a moving reminder to check on each other, speak openly, and seek help when needed. You are not alone!

We’re looking for a Part-Time Dispatcher to join our team as a Weekend Warrior to be the voice behind the radio, the calm in the chaos, and the person who helps keep crews moving and patients cared for.

What you’ll do:
✅ Dispatch and coordinate EMS units for calls and transports
✅ Monitor unit status and manage call flow
✅ Communicate clearly with crews, facilities, and partners
✅ Document information accurately and professionally
