The Spartanburg County Community Emergency Response Team recently acknowledged the efforts of their program/volunteers at their Holiday Banquet. In 2 years their CERT program recorded 427 team trainings/unit trainings/activation events in addition to the initial 4 month COVID response they spearheaded. A huge kudos to Spartanburg CERT and all of the other CERT programs serving the greater good in their respective communities.

Spartanburg County CERT completed their 3rd CERT training session of the year. This training took place at Converse College. Their next CERT training session takes place the first week of September, Tuesday/Thursday evenings for 3 weeks. Check out their page and events for more info. Great job!

Anderson County will be hosting CERT Basic Training beginning September 14, 2019 and will culminate with participation in a full-scale mass casualty exercise on October 19, 2019.
