Kiwanis Club of Pinellas Park – 2026 Scholarship Winner
On Thursday, May 28, The Kiwanis Club of Pinellas Park welcomed our 2026 Scholarship Winner, Tucker Henry. Introducing Tucker was Scholarship committee chair Sydney Legakis.
Some highlights about Tucker:
• Graduated from St Petersburg High School
• 10th grade Digital Information Technology school award
• Theatre Honor Society (Thespians)
• National Honor Society (NHS)
• Music Honor Society (Tri-M)
Other Activities:
• 3 years cross country
• 2 years track
• Key club 4 years - Vice president, president, Lt Governor Division 13
• Future Business leaders of America - state finalist 2 times
• Theater crew/usher chairman - 3 years
From his essay we learn “Service has shaped my character, my leadership style, and my goals. It has taught me that real commitment comes from consistency, humility, and the willingness to take on work that makes life better for other people. I vow to continue serving whatever communities I may be a part of long after high school because these experiences have shown me how powerful community action can be”. He will be attending Hamilton College in New York. Hopes to pursue a career in science

Tucker is a very impressive young man, dedicated to service. He mentioned “The Mad Hatter Event” hosted by Sunshine City as his favorite service project. Good luck Tucker as you move on to the next chapter in your story.
