The Pinecrest Lake recreation area remains closed. The following forest roads in lower elevations have been opened.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL POWDER DAY!
3" at the Base, 5" at the summit overnight and the snowfall continues!

For today we currently have chairs 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 all up and running, along with the rope tow and conveyor for lessons, with 38 runs groomed overnight among the vast amounts of light dry, untouched powder throughout the mountain. It’s been another great week of powder conditions as we’ve now picked up over a foot the past 24 hours, 30+” from the past 48 hours and over 4 feet in the past 3 days.

Please be aware that deep snow conditions do exist and remember to always ski and ride with a buddy and keep your buddy in view at all times.

Currently chains or snow tires are required from Sonora to 2.3 miles east of Sonora and then chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive with snow tires on all 4 wheels for the remainder of your drive to Dodge Ridge. Always remember to carry chains when traveling in the mountains during the winter months, as conditions are constantly changing.
