Update on the kitty that was hanging around town hall.

She has a new home now. Thank you to our administrative staff and the wonderful citizen that made this happen.

Here is the update from her new home:

Kitty is doing great! We were able to give her a bath and she actually enjoyed it. She lets us pet her and she is using the litter box already.

Please join us for an event at Congaree Baptist Church, “The Informed Caregiver.” We have a guest speaker from the South Carolina Alzheimer’s Association. Lunch is provided. Thanks!

Great things are happening in Pine Ridge. The Town of Pine Ridge, South Carolina and the Pine Ridge Police Department are excited to announce our First Annual Back to School Bash in partnership with Congaree Cares.

Mark your calendars and save the date for July 25th, 2026, 5pm-7pm.

The Back to School Bash will be held at 2768 Fish Hatchery Road (Midland Softball Fields).

Bounce Houses, a DUNK TANK, DJ Ronny Lane will DJ this family friendly, community-oriented event. Looney ballooney will be on site with free balloon animals, free face painting, free cotton candy and so much more. This is an event you do not want to miss.

Games, Music, Sweet treats(Kimberly's Southern Treats) and so much more.

Food Trucks Taco Grill LLC and TravelChef Mac will also be in attendance.

The Nut Wagon will also be in attendance wish mouth watering peanuts.

FREE school supplies (while supplies last)

Local Vendors will be onsite as well.

While onsite you can sign your daughter up to play at Midland Girls Softball.

Congratulations to Pine Ridge Police Department’s Chief Frankie Neeley for winning the 2026 Lexington Chronicle’s Best Law Enforcement Officer of Lexington for 2026.

We are thankful to have an amazing police department, with such a dedicated, professional, hardworking Chief.

Today is the day!! Taco Grill LLC will be in the upper parking lot starting at 3pm until 9pm this evening. Stop by and enjoy authentic tacos, tortas and more.

If you enjoy Food Truck Friday, let us know and we can possibly do this weekly, with different food trucks.

Congratulations again to Midland Softball Girls 10u team on their district championship title. They too will compete in the state tournament starting on June 19th in Orangeburg!

Midland Softball is the place to be! Be on the lookout for fall registration. You do not want to miss being part of this wonderful program.
