🚫🤛 Altoona Police curb recent Juvenile Violence
An assault on May 18th involving multiple juveniles has resulted in charges being filed against several individuals to include juveniles and adults.
On June 2nd, 2026 a 13-year-old male was arrested in connection with an assault involving multiple actors that occurred on May 18th in the City of Altoona. The juvenile male was charged with Criminal Conspiracy, Aggravated Assault, False Imprisonment, Riot, Simple Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct. A search warrant was executed on his primary residence where evidence related to the assault was seized, including multiple cell phones.
On June 3rd an additional search warrant was served on the primary residence of a 13-year-old female involved in the assault. Her charges will be the same as the aforementioned male.
As a result of the arrest on June 2nd, 44-year-old Elizabeth Cassarly was charged with Interference with the custody of children, Endangering the welfare of children, Corruption of minors, and drug offenses.
All other persons, mainly juveniles, involved in the assault have been identified and charges are forthwith. The investigation is ongoing and additional search warrants are anticipated in reference to this incident, as well as others.
The Blair County Juvenile Probation Office, Altoona Area School District Police, and Administration assisted with the investigation.
