The Pine City Blue Star Moms are proud and honored to recognize graduating high school seniors from Rush City, Pine City, Mora and Cambridge/Isanti.

As we celebrate 250 years of American independence, these young men and women have made a profound commitment to something far greater than themselves, they have chose to step forward to carry the torch of freedom, carry on the legacy of patriotism, that has defined their nation since its birth.

In February of 1942, in Flint, Michigan, mothers of military personnel during world war II, created a group to support moms of military service members and to stand as a visible reminder of their children's service and sacrifices.

We are also reminded that our freedom is not free and that it is secured by the courage of our brave men and women- that have chosen to enlist in the military.

The Pine City Blue Star moms presented honor cords for these students to wear proudly during their graduation ceremony. Reminding them to let it be a symbol of the courage they possess, the sacrifices they are prepared to make.

As these students leave High School and begin their military training. Please know that you do not walk this path alone. The blue star mothers of America stand proudly behind you and your loved ones as your family serves also.
We pray for you and support you and your families.

Congratulations and thank you for your commitment to serve the United States of America

We had the honor yesterday of attending Mora High School’s Military Swearing In Ceremony and presented four graduating seniors with red, white and blue honor cords to wear at graduation. Two have enlisted in the Army and two in the Air Force.

We have also donated honor cords to seniors from Pine City (7), Rush City (5) and also were honored to attend the Swearing in Ceremony for Cambridge-Isanti enlistees (17- their school provides honor cords for their military graduates!). Photos of their ceremony and newspaper article are attached!

We wish them all the best and thank them for their commitment to serve the 🇺🇸

Blue star moms will be hosting their annual fundraising garage sale on Saturday, May 2nd at 400 Circle Drive in Braham. Everything is $0.50 or fill a paper bag for $5. Unless marked otherwise!! We will also be doing a bake sale so don't forget to check out all those yummies!!
We will also accept donations, please no TVs or furniture. Donations can be dropped off April 30th please call Tish to make arrangements at 763-244-0450

Thank you to our MC Naomi Koenig of Selah Wellness Clinic of Sandstone and our comedian Tim Harmston was absolutely wonderful and would like to thank him for all the great laughs.

We were recently honored with a Grant from First Citizens Charitable Founation (Mora Branch of First Citizens Bank). The First Citizens Charitable Foundation is committed to supporting nonprofit organizations that make a meaningful impact in areas such as financial education, community development and essential human services.
