๐Ÿ“ž๐Ÿš“๐Ÿš‘ April is National 911 Education Month! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ“ž

On Thursday the 23rd, the Pine County Sheriffโ€™s Office had the great opportunity to visit several of our local schools alongside our first responder partners to help educate students about when and how to call 911.

Students were able to meet and interact with members from the Pine County Sheriffโ€™s Office, local fire departments, Mille Lacs Tribal Police, and Essentia Health Ambulance. These visits are an important way to help kids understand what happens during an emergency and to feel more comfortable reaching out when they need help.

We appreciate the warm welcome from the schools and the teamwork from all agencies involved.
