September 11th is a day we will carry in our hearts forever.

Today, we remember the innocent lives taken too soon, the families who lost someone they loved, and the brave first responders and heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

So many lives were changed in a matter of minutes, but the courage, strength, and unity that followed will never be forgotten. We honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those who continue to carry their memories every day.

May we always remember their names, their stories, and the lives they left behind.

🌩️ Tornado Watch Issued for Orange County Until 9:00 PM 🌩️

Orange County remains under both a Tornado Watch and Flood Watch through this evening as multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms move through the region.

*WATCH* = Conditions are favorable for hazardous weather - be prepared to act.

While a tornado is NOT occurring at this time, residents should remain weather aware and be prepared to take immediate action if a warning is issued.

• Have multiple ways to receive weather alerts this afternoon and evening. If a Tornado Warning is issued, move immediately to the lowest level of a sturdy building, away from windows.

• Heavy rainfall may produce localized flash flooding, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas. Never drive through flooded roadways. Turn Around, Don't Drown.

• Orange County Emergency Services continues to monitor conditions in coordination with the National Weather Service and our local, state and regional partners. We will provide updates as needed.
