Teamwork is the effort of effective training and collaboration! This pursuit involved all 4 agencies in Laramie County and was brought to a safe conclusion because of that very training! PBPD played a small but pivotal role in deployment of a tire deflation device. All four tires were successfully hit which slowed the suspect vehicle to safe speeds and allowed WHP Trooper to perform a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI).

Great communication between Cheyenne Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff's Office, and Wyoming Highway Patrol showcases Laramie County’s law enforcement strength and effectiveness! Happy National Police Week to all!!!

On May 1st the Pine Bluffs/Laramie County youth Cadets had the honor and privilege of participating in the dedication ceremony for Sheriff Frank Roach. I want to thank the Laramie County Sheriff's Office for including them!! Not only is it a good experience but it shows all the hard work they (and all the other Cadets that couldn’t make it) have put into their professionalism, dedication, and duty!

Pine Bluffs PD is accepting all applicants from new to certified law enforcement lateral transfers! PBPD has a K9 opening to a qualifying lateral transfer.
K9 position open to:
- law enforcement officers with 2+ years experience.
- ability to care for and keep up with demand of training a police K9.

This morning just after midnight(04/04/2026), while everyone was asleep, the Pine Bluffs PD, Laramie County Fire District #5, Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, Pine Bluffs EMS, Laramie County Fire District #3, WHP, and Laramie County Sheriffs Office were dispatched to I-80 Pine Bluffs east bound exit (MM402) for a one vehicle roll over with life threatening injury. I-80 eastbound was shut down for several hours to investigate and clear the road. I-80 was reopened at approximately 4am.

Due to the quick response of Pine Bluffs PD Officer and EMS crews application of multiple tourniquets, the lone occupant in the semi will survive, but with serious life altering injuries.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy easter. If traveling please remember to wear your seatbelt and avoid distractions!

Important chnage of venue and date! The Pine Bluffs Police Department will host our next town hall meeting on the partnership with 287g grant program FRIDAY March 20th from 5pm - 7pm. This meeting will be held at the pine Bluffs Community Center.

No matter who you’re rooting for this Super Bowl Sunday, we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable night. Law Enforcement throughout Laramie County are out in force to keep everyone safe from impaired drivers!

Please have a sober driver or alternate ways home. The average cost for a Super Bowl ticket this year is $9,000!…the average cost of a DUI is $11,500! Go to the Super Bowl not to jail!!

Cadets were honored at the Cheyenne Police Department in recognition for their service in assisting with the Cheyenne Frontier Days parade. Cadets assisted Law Enforcement Officers with traffic control, setup/takedown of parade barriers, and assigned safty patrols.
