We are growing and are hiring an early childhood teacher for our child care center. The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for providing age appropriate learning opportunities for children ages sixteen months through age four. Lesson planning, providing circle time, music, literacy activities, small and large gross motor activities and working on social skills with children. The TS Gold Assessment Tool is used to help monitor children's skills and identify areas of strength and improvement. A combination of education and experience is needed to meet state licensing requirements. Candidate must be a team player and enjoy working with children. The Program is state licensed and Parent Aware Rated. We are excited to have the right person join our team!

When schools closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hundreds of thousands of Minnesota’s students lost access to school breakfast and lunch. For students who receive free & reduced price school meals, this has been a big gap in their access to food.

The USDA recently approved the state of Minnesota’s application for Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) to help families replace the meals their children lost because schools are closed.

Follow the link below to find out more about P-EBT and how to apply.

This program, called P-EBT, is for students who are normally able to get free or reduced price school meals. Apply and get up to $325 per child to spend on groceries.

This winter, remember to remove your child’s bulky winter coat before buckling him/her into the car seat, so the straps fit properly. If you have questions about car seat safety, ask your healthcare provider when you make your child’s Child and Teen Checkup appointment.
