Are you ready for Halloween? We are!

We finished up our Community Helper’s Week with Ryan Haynes from Mountain Enterprise. Our kids have enjoyed learning about how our community comes together to serve one another.

These awesome Community Helpers came to help us kick the week off.
A big thank you to:

Look how our week is “shaping” up at Model City Head Start! Our teachers provide new lessons plans each week filled with a variety of learning opportunities for our students.

Over the next few weeks, all 4 of our Head Start classrooms will participate in Classroom Assessment Scoring System CLASS observations! 🌟

What does this mean?
A trained observer will visit our classrooms to look at how our teachers interact with and support your children. CLASS focuses on three key areas:
❤️ Emotional Support: Building positive, encouraging relationships.
📚 Classroom Organization: Keeping routines smooth and engaging.
💡 Instructional Support: Promoting thinking, problem-solving, and language skills.

Why do we do this?
CLASS observations are an essential part of how we maintain our School of Excellence standard! By measuring and reflecting on our everyday teacher-child interactions, we ensure your children receive the highest quality early learning environment to help them thrive.

Thank you for partnering with us in your child’s learning journey! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. 😊✨
