Last night, President Biden addressed the nation and laid out his anti-gun legislative agenda.
He offered few proposals that cut to the root causes of violence and several that would simply restrict the rights of responsible gun owners across the country.
More laws.
More federal control.
Fewer freedoms.
These are his "solutions" for America.
His efforts represent an all-out attack on the rights guaranteed by the Second, Fifth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.
Liberty is rarely as imperiled as it is in times of crisis.
The temptation of those in power to advance their political goals at the expense of freedom is strong.
Make your voice heard this year. Send representatives to Nashville and to Washington who will stand up for your rights in the General Assembly and in Congress.
And in the judicial elections on August 4, support candidates who will fight to protect your liberties in the courtroom.
I am just such a candidate, and I am asking for your vote.
Together, we can preserve the rights our forefathers fought so hard to secure.
