We’re asking all residents to help conserve water by limiting non-essential use such as outdoor watering, car washing, and other high usage activities.

🔥 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕 — 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕.

When a child is inside an unattended vehicle, their temperature can rise quickly and the situation can become dangerous. No parent or caregiver thinks this can happen to them, but dozens of children each year are either left behind in a vehicle or become trapped inside.

🚨 In 2025, 𝟯𝟭 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗱 from vehicular heatstroke. Even in temperatures as low as 𝟲𝟬°𝗙, the inside of a car can overheat rapidly.

👉 𝟭 𝗶𝗻 𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 happen when kids get into cars and can’t get out.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲:
✅ Always lock your car and keep keys out of children’s reach.
✅ Never leave your dog in a hot car — even with the windows cracked. Dogs can’t sweat to cool down like humans, and they can’t unlock doors or call for help.

If you see a child or pet in distress, 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟵𝟭𝟭 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆.

• Check tires, fuel, and fluid levels

• Wear a DOT compliant helmet
• Long sleeves, gloves, and boots for off-roading
