Pike Road citizens, be sure to go vote today! It is a beautiful day and the perfect weather to cast your ballot! Come see me at the front of the parking lot for a donut or some Italian ice when you come to vote! I also have water and soft drinks if you are thirsty. 💦 🍩

I wanted to take a minute to let you know I am running for a second term of service on the Pike Road Town Council.

I am grateful for what I learned during my first term, and I’m looking forward to being able to use that experience in service to the town if reelected this August.

One of the most encouraging aspects of serving has been to witness the passion and enthusiasm of the residence of Pike Road on a daily basis. Our town is filled with people who love their community and are committed to seeing it succeed in every aspect of daily life.

Please get out and vote on August 26. Thank you so much!

I received some very sad news tonight during the council meeting that Mrs. Delorias Lenard passed away recently after suffering from COVID-19. She was a great lady and our community has lost an amazing resident. Please join me in praying for her husband, Willie, as well as her family at this time.

What an honor it was to meet Mrs. Delorias Lenard and Mr. Willie Lenard ! However today’s vote turns out, we would like to say that she ran a great and positive campaign. Although she was technically Doug’s “opponent” in the race, we feel we are allies, united in a love for our town. She and her husband are true assets to Pike Road! If you see them out, please stop and say hello. You’ll be blessed by their friendship.

Thanks so much for your support!! Doug won! He’d like to thank everyone of his supporters, and all those that voted in Pike Road today. There was a great turnout. It was really inspiring to see democracy in action. He’d also like to thanks Dr. Delorias Lenard, who also ran for Place 5. She ran a very positive campaign and he appreciates her very much. We will be up at town hall all day today! So stop on by the tent (SW corner of the parking lot) if you would like a Conecuh sausage dog or bottle of water! Around dinner time, it doesn’t matter who you are planning to vote for, because we all gotta eat!!! Come see us!
