Labor Day Route Changes: Monday’s residential routes will be run on Tuesday, September 8th. We will begin Monday routes on Tuesday morning, and then do as much as possible of the Tuesday routes. We will finish Tuesday routes on Wednesday morning if necessary, and then we will do Wednesday routes. The office will be closed for Labor Day, Monday September 7th.

Contractor crews will be working to do CIP lining on sewer mains in Piggott beginning 8/20/26. This construction is part of an APRA grant received by the city and will continue throughout next week. Please use caution when traveling these streets for the safety of the workers. We apologize for any temporary inconvenience this may cause. This grant came as a great opportunity to repair some valuable infrastructure for the City of Piggott.

The areas affected include:

the 300 block extending through the 1100 block of W. Court St.
beginning at the intersection of W. Court St. and S. 5th Ave. and extending north to W. Jackson
beginning at the intersection of S. 5th Ave. and S. 6th Ave. and extending north to W. Jackson
a few locations on W. Main St. and W. Cherry St.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing vendors, food trucks, sponsors, Dunking Booth participants, volunteers and —most importantly—our incredible community for showing up for our 2nd Annual Park Palooza last Saturday!

It may have been the hottest weekend in 14 years, but that didn’t stop the fun! We made memories, shared lots of laughs, and had an unforgettable day together.

We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make Park Palooza such a success. We couldn’t do it without you!
