🚧 City Hall is Open 🚧

Due to concrete work at the front entrance, the doors are currently inaccessible during Thursday, 7/16 through Friday, 7/17.

If you need to enter City Hall, please call 320-468-6471, and a staff member will assist you.

The building entrance is expected to be fully accessible again on Monday, 7/20.

With the Extreme Heat Warning currently in effect, Chief Hanneken, is encouraging everyone in our community to take a few moments to check in on your neighbors, especially older adults, those living alone, individuals with medical conditions, and anyone who may not have access to air conditioning.

A simple phone call, text message, or visit can make a meaningful difference during periods of dangerous heat. Make sure they are staying hydrated, keeping cool, and have what they need to remain safe.

Please remember to:

▪️Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty.
▪️Limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.
▪️Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles, even for a short time.
▪️Watch for signs of heat-related illness, such as dizziness, confusion, nausea, or excessive fatigue, and seek medical attention if needed.

Pierz has always been a community that looks out for one another. During this period of extreme heat, let's continue that tradition by checking on those who may need a helping hand.
