The City of Pierz is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Stangl to the Pierz City Council.

Joe was recently appointed to fill the remainder of a vacant council term and will serve the community through the end of that term. We appreciate his willingness to step forward and serve the residents of Pierz.

Still Accepting Applications!

The City of Pierz is accepting applications and letters of interest to fill a vacant City Council seat through December 31, 2026.
This is a great opportunity for residents interested in serving the community and gaining experience in local government before deciding whether to run for a future full term.
Interested applicants should submit:
• A completed City Council Appointment Application
• A brief letter of interest
Applications are due to Pierz City Hall by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26.
Applications are available at City Hall. Questions may be directed to City Hall during regular business hours.
We encourage community-minded residents to apply and get involved!

PIERZ — Pierz ended 2025 with a stronger cash position and a clean audit, continuing a financial turnaround city leaders said has taken several years of careful budgeting.
