Happy ☀️ June! This month:

Starting FRIDAY, June 5 the Pierson Township Farmers & Artisan Market returns! 🍞🥚🧁🍭🌱 Market is 3-7 pm every Friday! Plenty of time to play at the park and celebrate the end of school!!

MONDAY, June 8 Food 4 Fire Committee meeting! 7 pm. Wanna help with this amazing? Stop by and see how you might be able to help!

FRIDAY June 12 🔥Food 4 Fire Food Truck Rally & Market Fire Dept Fundraiser Join us for this amazing event to help Pierson Township raise capital to get back with Sand Lake Fire Department!! Farmers Market, Food Trucks, Music 🎶 Bingo, beer tent and Stolen Horses Concert in the park! If the Beer Tent isn't your thing - bring a lawn chair, eat some super, and enjoy the concert! We'll pass the boot and 50/50 so you can help too!! Food trucks are giving back - come hungry! 😋

Board Meeting - Monday, June 15 at 7 pm

Planning Commission- Thursday, June 25 at 7 pm. Public Hearing for ADU's and AG/Event Barn Regulation. (See posting on website for details).

Wow!! What an AmAziNg turn out of Pierson Township Residents for the Spring Clean-Up aka Dump Day!!!

This was the BIGGEST one EVA!! **
** 58 - 20yd loads or 1,160yds that's 71.4 tons. It was a record by yds.
But it needs a correction: during Covid we had an 80 ton spring cleanup. Still a great clean-up day!!

Thank you to all those residents that grabbed fall-of from other fellows. Dan said I was having too much fun talking up the Food 4 Fire Food Truck Rally & Market Fire Dept Fundraiser Event!

Fun stats:
🏃‍➡️Fastest unload 3 minutes
🐢Longest unload 52 minutes.
🚙🚙🚙 One awesome lady did 3 runs all by herself! Go LM!!!
Will fix the information on the web. The paddle 🏓 speaks it all!!

Thank you to Republic Services for being a good neighbor - taking care of our crap and keeping our yards & homes looking great! We appreciate all the work you do to keep the smell at a minimum and helping us recycle!

With local fires hitting the news, we want to keep the community Fire Department with Nelson and Ensley Townships in view.

While we are so grateful Nelson Township was able to purchase the Sand Lake Fire Department, we are still in need of capital funds to get onboard. We are currently working on the contract for the Sand Lake Fire Department!

Living in rural areas make our need for quick fire response so important. We thank the Howard City Fire Department for covering the entire township as we work out the details!

Having both fire departments is a huge benefit to the entire township. This dual department service gives us fast fire response and additional EMS service to backup our Montcalm County Coverage.
