Big news, Pierre/Fort Pierre families: the Pierre/Fort Pierre Kiwanis StoryWalk® is coming to Fischers Lilly Park in Fort Pierre!

A StoryWalk® places the pages of a children’s book on posts along a walking route so families can read together while they move. It’s literacy and wellness wrapped into one magical experience, and it’s completely free for your whole family to enjoy.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. This StoryWalk® is just one way our club is committed to the children of our area.

This StoryWalk® is brought to you by the Pierre-Fort Pierre Kiwanis Club with sponsorships generously provided by the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, Pierre Elk’s Lodge, Future Fort Pierre, Friends of the Rawlins Library, and A-G-E Corporation Contractors.

The first story “America is…” will be installed and ready to go by June 1! Follow the Pierre-Fort Pierre Kiwanis page for updates throughout the summer/fall. Grab the kids, hit the trail, and let’s read together this summer. See you at Fischers Lilly Park!
