Come Paddle the Heart of Our Community! 🛶🎃

The Pierre Part/Belle River Business Group is excited to share another great opportunity to bring people into our community and experience what makes Pierre Part so special....our waterways, our people, our culture, and our hospitality!

Join the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP) for Paddle the Estuary: Bayou Pierre Part – Halloween on Saturday, October 31, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Veterans Park.

Choose a 5.5-mile or 10-mile paddle, enjoy breakfast, jambalaya and white beans for lunch, and live music by the Cajun Music Preservation Society. It’s a great way for residents and visitors alike to experience Bayou Pierre Part from the water.

Events like this help showcase the recreational and tourism opportunities that support our local businesses and strengthen our community. Let’s welcome our visitors and show them why Pierre Part is a special place to live, work, play, and visit!

What a Night! 🎉🏁

The Pierre Part Belle River Business Group Summer Social was a HUGE success! We were blown away by the incredible turnout—one of our best in several years! It was a fantastic evening filled with great food, fellowship, networking, laughter, and a whole lot of fun.

And we can’t forget the 10 lucky winners of the dragster rides! 🏎️💨 We’re pretty sure they had an especially unforgettable night!

A special THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make this event such a success. We are truly grateful for the support of our local businesses and community members who continue to make the Pierre Part and Belle River area such a special place to live, work, and do business.

We are excited to announce our 2026 Scholarship Recipients! The Pierre Part Belle River Business Group is honored to recognize the outstanding achievements of Joshua Templet, son of Danny and Jennifer Templet, who received the High School Senior Scholarship, and Koby LeGleu, son of Ronnie and Liza LeGleu, who received the Continuing Education Scholarship. Congratulations to both of you and we wish you continued success in your endeavors!

We believe in empowering the next generation of leaders and are grateful for the opportunity to support these deserving students from our community. Every year, we invite eligible students to share their stories and accomplishments with us through an application process and this year we were inspired by the numerous deserving applications we received.
