Our library is super excited to announce our 2026 summer reading program hosted by the Pierceton Library Friends. Come join us Thursday June 4, 2026 from 10:30-11:30 to kick off our summer reading program. Our summer reading program will be every Thursday from June 4 - July 16. Come join us for crafts, stories, snacks and prizes. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

To our valued customers:
Due to an unfortunate incident, we are temporarily NOT accepting new reservations for the use of our community room. We will honor those who have already booked up to this date.

This was not an easy decision, but please understand that our community room was basically a free rental, and all we asked was for people to follow the rules and make a small donation. When our room was reserved, the responsible person was asked to sign a short form which stated our rules, along with the statement that failure to follow our rules could result in the loss of part or all of your deposit. Each person renting was given a copy of the paper listing our rules.

We are not unreasonable people, and we do not deserve to be shouted at, accused of things, and having our privacy invaded.

We will be reassessing the use of our community room and hopefully be able to offer it again in the future.

Pierceton Public library is now raising money for the installation of our new Flag and Flagpole. This is a big year for our country as we celebrate 250 years. Would you or your business consider donating to our flag fund, so we can show and honor our American Pride.
