Air Mail Corner

Air Mail Corner Airmail Corner has had a mailbox set about 15' up in the air at the end of our driveway since the 1960's. And the box is labeled Air Mail.

I understand the Air Mail Box was put up in the 1960's. I first heard it called "Air Mail Corner," by an equipment operator on the road construction crew.

Airmail Corner is located 2 miles south of Pierce, Idaho. It is surprisingly sharp and has been the location of many accidents. It is just past the Hanging Tree Historical Site.
