This weekend our Soldiers and families came together to celebrate the holiday season with laughs, good food, and even a visit from Santa himself!

🚨 BIG CHANGES COMING TO BRS CONTINUATION PAY 🚨

Effective January 2026, major updates are hitting the Blended Retirement System (BRS) Continuation Pay policy — and it could mean a $7,000–$15,000 difference for many National Guardsmen.

🔹 M-Day Guardsmen: Continuation Pay drops from 2.5x to 0.5x monthly basic pay
🔹 AGR Guardsmen: No change – stays at 2.5x
🔹 New eligibility window: 7–12 years (shortening to 7–10 in FY27)
🔹 Mobilized Guardsmen may still qualify for 2.5x if they served 270+ days involuntarily in a 2-year period

📉 Lower payouts could impact mid-career retention.
