Pierce City Fire Protection District The Pierce City Fire Protection District covers 140 square miles along the Ozark's Plateau. We proudly continue 136 year tradition of serving this community.

The Pierce City Fire Protection District was founded in 2013, with our roots going back to the 1880's. Covering 140 square miles in Lawrence, Barry and Newton Counties in Southwest MO, with 4 Stations each having an Engine, Tanker and Brush Truck.

New schedule for work at U.S. Route 60 between Farm Road 1020 and Farm Road 1040 north of Regional Airport Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 31. Contractor crews widening the south side of Route 60 for future traffic shift during construction of roundabout at intersection with Route 97. https://www.modot.org/node/91588

Our thoughts and prayers for a speedy physical and emotional recovery for our brothers at Springfield, MO Fire Department. These calls are challenging physically and test the emotional fortitude of the most seasoned first responder. Also, please keep the victims and their families in your prayers as they cope with this tragedy.

North and South bound Hwy 37 has been opened back up without restrictions. Please remember to drive safe!

Northbound Hwy 37 is closed at VV Hwy due to a traffic accident just north of there. Traffic is being detoured north on VV to 2200.

📢 Notice of Meeting

The Pierce City Fire District will hold its regular monthly board meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd, at Fire Station 1, located at 2543 Lawrence 2225, Pierce City, MO 65723. The meeting will begin at 7pm.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Open public comment will be available at the end of the meeting. If you would like to speak, please contact District Secretary Pam Bartkoski in advance to be placed on the agenda.
