Strong work yesterday from C-shift. The men and woman of Piedmont Rescue are committed to providing professional, quality healthcare to the citizens of Piedmont and Calhoun County. Special thanks to the Jacksonville Fire Department, Knightens Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department and Survival Flight for the mutual aid support. You can rest easy knowing we are committed to the cause no matter the cost! It is my pleasure as their director to be a part of such a great group. If you see them out today, let them know you are proud of them as well!

WINTER WEATHER POTENTIAL Please share:

🚨 Winter Weather – Community Preparedness Notice ❄️
As a winter storm potentially moves into our area this weekend, Piedmont Rescue and EMS urges everyone to prepare now to stay safe and avoid emergencies if possible.

Please make sure you have:
• 🩺 Enough medications to last through the storm
• 🫁 Oxygen tanks fully stocked and working properly
(spare bottles if you use a concentrator)
• 🔥 Safe ways to stay warm in case of power outages
• 📱 Charged phones and emergency contacts ready

⚠️ Road conditions could become extremely dangerous. They will be just as hazardous for first responders as they are for everyone else. If you don’t absolutely need to travel, please stay off the roads.
Taking steps now helps keep you safe and allows EMS and other emergency crews to respond to the most critical calls during the storm.
Please check on neighbors, especially the elderly and those with medical needs.
Stay safe, stay warm, and be prepared.
