RED FLAG WARNING: The Range will close at NOON on Friday, October 9th.
The National Weather Service may issue Red Flag Warnings during periods of hot, dry, and windy weather when wildfire risk is extremely high. To help prevent accidental fire starts and to be responsible neighbors to the surrounding community, operations at the Pete Lien & Sons Shooting Sports Complex (PLSSSC) will adjust during these conditions.
When a Red Flag Warning is issued:
• The PLSSSC will close at 12:00 p.m. MT for the remainder of the day.
• Early-closure notices will be shared on social media, the PLSSSC webpage, outgoing voicemail, and posted as signage on-site.
• The PLSSSC education building will remain open for indoor programs. Outdoor programs may continue only if enhanced fire prevention measures are in place, including fire flappers, hand rakes, and an available water source or fire extinguisher.
Red Flag Warnings are issued when a combination of strong winds, very low humidity, dry fuels, or dry lightning significantly increases the potential for rapid wildfire spread. Current warnings can be viewed at the National Weather Service: www.weather.gov/unr.

The range will be open completely until noon. The office will stay open until 4:30PM.
