City of Piedmont Fire Department We are a combination department consisting of full time and volunteer firefighters.

Fire & rescue protection is provided to our 42 sq mile coverage area, as well as mutual aid to 7 neighboring departments.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

East Ladiga Street is currently closed from McFarland Avenue to Harris Avenue due to a sinkhole that requires repairs.

The roadway will remain closed until repairs are completed and it is safe for travel. We will provide updates as they become available and will reopen the road as soon as possible.

Access to Nett’s Kitchen and the Church of God remains available. Motorists needing to visit these locations should enter from the east side of East Ladiga Street and travel west toward downtown.

Companies that operate large trucks and trailers should communicate this closure to their freight pickup and delivery drivers. Large trucks are not permitted to travel through the surrounding residential areas to bypass the closure. Please use US Hwy 278 as the designated alternate route and do not use East Ladiga Street until the roadway has been reopened.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as crews work to make the necessary repairs. Please use caution in the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
