Metallic balloons may look fun, but if they come into contact with power lines, they can cause outages and unexpected disruptions. So far this year, more than 240,568 customers have been impacted by a Mylar balloon outage.

Here are some safety tips to keep the lights (and the game) on:

🎈 Skip metallic balloons outdoors, or keep them secured with a weight
🔌 Never release balloons near power lines
🏠 Consider non-metallic decorations for your watch party

These small steps can make a big difference in keeping your celebration powered.
