She cut $250,000 from the annual budget during her first year in office. She improved services to the public by allowing (for the first time) online ordering of official documents and credit card payments for recording fees. She is a graduate of The Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute. She has also been a guest speaker featured with the John Glenn School Leadership Forum at The Ohio State University. She is a 23 year veteran Realtor, has managed large real estate brokerages, and taught continuing education classes for agents across the State of Ohio. Her favorite topic to teach is Fair Housing. During her sales career, she has specialized in finding housing for people with developmental disabilities and other special needs. Prior to her real estate career, she worked at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Daphne is a board member on the Columbus Realtors’ Leadership Advisory Board, and co-chair of the Columbus Realtors' Raise The Bar Committee. Daphne is a volunteer life skills instructor at The Refuge, a local, faith based, 13 month residential treatment program for women with addiction. Daphne is married and has three grown children and seven grandchildren, all of whom live in Grove City where she grew up and still resides. Daphne enjoys reading, biking, travel and spending time with family. She attends Rock City Church in Columbus.
