Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

We’re ready for another great summer at Lake Sakakawea State Park and excited to open the brand-new Lake Shore Store tomorrow, May 22! Stop in for permits, ice, firewood, refreshments, snacks, ice cream, apparel and more. As we continue hiring and onboarding new team members, additional menu items and services will be added throughout the season.

Store & Marina Fuel Hours for this weekend:
Friday–Sunday | 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Comfort stations will be open, water is on, boat ramps and fish cleaning stations are open, and docks are in and ready for the weekend ahead. Thank you to our team for all their hard work!

Lake Sakakawea State Park is seeking a full-time Park Ranger to join our team. This role blends facility maintenance, visitor assistance, rule enforcement, and team support to ensure a high-quality experience for all.

We’re seeking a service-driven individual with a passion for environmental stewardship and the ability to manage daily operations, support staff, and engage the public.

On-site housing is provided with this position, and the Park Ranger is expected to reside within the park while on call or duty to support operations.

Lake Sakakawea State Park has a few campground host spots to fill for the upcoming season with flexible schedules and timeframes. Openings remain through October 15. Hosts receive free, full-service camping for the duration of their stay.
