Labor Day is about the workers who power our communities and the unions and labor movements that support our hard-working neighbors.

Fair wages, good benefits, and safe working conditions do not come easily. They come when workers band together, organize, fight back, and stand strong for what we deserve.

So as the greedy billionaire class tries to take more and more from all of us, we will organize in our community and ensure workers across professions are not only protected but can thrive in our Phoenixville community.

Pennsylvania House Democrats passed a bill that would raise our minimum wage. Governor Shapiro said he would sign it into law.

The problem - the Senate Republicans in the majority won’t put the bill to a vote.

It’s long past time to raise the minimum wage and it’s way past time for a new Senate majority in Pennsylvania.
