🎨 East Pikeland Township at First Friday! 🎨

On Friday, Event Coordinator Eleanor and Land Steward Matt represented East Pikeland Township at Phoenixville Borough’s First Friday! We hosted a table in the Kids Zone, which was extremely popular throughout the evening.

Our rock painting craft was a huge hit! 🪨🎨 It was wonderful to see so many kids get creative and turn ordinary rocks into colorful works of art.

We also had the opportunity to spread the word about two upcoming East Pikeland Township events:

Step into an evening of local history at a site that was part of the Underground Railroad in Kimberton Village. Guest speaker Ryan Conroy explores the Underground Railroad and the courageous people, secret networks, and community connections that helped freedom seekers move toward safety.

East Pikeland Township offices will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

Township offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:00 AM.

We hope to see you at "Touch-a-Truck", on September 12th from 9am-noon!

Touch-A-Truck is back on the calendar.

East Pikeland Township will not be hosting our usual National Night Out event this August. Instead, we invite the community to join us for our rescheduled Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kimberton Fire Company, 762 Pike Springs Road, Phoenixville.

Families can come out and explore police cars, fire trucks, public works vehicles, construction equipment, and more. We are also planning food trucks, interactive displays, and the Touch-A-Truck Explorer Pass game for kids.

A sensory-friendly quiet time will be held from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, with no horns, sirens, or loud demonstrations during that time.

This is a free, family-friendly community event. We hope to see you there.

🌿 Volunteer Work Day at Powder Run Trail! 🌿

On Saturday, August 29, East Pikeland Township volunteers and staff came together for a productive Volunteer Work Day on the Powder Run Trail! Together, we chipped more than 300 feet of trail, helping improve the trail’s quality and making it a better experience for residents to enjoy.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers Gary, Alex, Richard, Kathleen, and Erik for giving their time and lending a hand! We also appreciate our dedicated Township staff Matt, Rich, and Eleanor for helping make the day a success.

It’s amazing what we can accomplish when our community works together! 💚 Thank you to everyone who continues to give their time and talents to make East Pikeland a great place to live, work, and enjoy the outdoors.

Despite the forecast, last night's final summer concert was a hit all thanks to Vinyl Roots and Bucktown Grill. Ofc. Lewis had the pleasure of handing out Dunkin' Donuts coupons and conversing with attendees. That's a wrap!🎶🍩
