Join the Phoenixville Liberation Center to honor the legacy of Dolly Parton, a progressive cultural icon that used her fame to further the rights of women, LGBTQ people, and poor and working people.

9 to 5 tells the story of three working women who live out their fantasies of getting even with and overthrowing their company’s autocratic, “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot” vice president.

On Thursday, August 20th volunteers from the Phoenixville Liberation Center and PSL SEPA joined members of SEIU 32BJ in taking a stand and calling for a contract that provides affordable healthcare and better wages to the custodial staff at Ursinus College.

The very workers that keep Ursinus running have faced lower wages and raises in healthcare cost that have made healthcare unaffordable.

We stand with the Ursinus custodial staff in their fight for livable wages and healthcare, both of which are human rights!
