📦 Shoe Box Donations Needed!

We are collecting shoe boxes from **August 10 through September 18** for our “Build Your Own Día de los Mu***os Nicho” station at the Hispanic Heritage Month Literacy Event. Families may send donated shoe boxes to school with their student or give them directly to our Family Coordinator, Ms. Jenny. Thank you for helping make this special activity possible!

📝 Picture Day Information:
• Picture Day flyers were sent home with information about the available picture packages and pricing.
• If you are purchasing pictures, please send the exact amount with your child. No change will be available.
• Students may come out of uniform for Picture Day, but clothing must be school-appropriate.
• Please remember that all students will be photographed.

Dollar Dress Down Day is this Friday, September 4! 💙 Students can bring $1 to dress down and wear their favorite school appropriate outfit, including jeans, school spirit shirts, sneakers, and more. Please send $1 with your student to give to their teacher Friday morning. All outfits must follow school guidelines. Thank you for supporting Irene Lopez School! 🐂

Curriculum Night is a wonderful opportunity to visit your child’s classroom, meet ALL their teachers, and learn more about what your child will be learning and experiencing this school year.

Throughout the evening, families will have an opportunity to:

Learn about grade-level curriculum and academic goals
Meet teachers and learn about classroom expectations and routines
Discover ways you can support learning at home
Learn about our Bulls Points and Bulls Corral
Make sure you are connected through Thrillshare
Learn about our student expectations and Skill of the Week
Connect with our Resource, Special Areas, SEL, MTSS, and PTSO teams
Evening Schedule: We are offering classroom sessions so families with more than one child at Lopez have an opportunity to visit multiple classrooms. We hope every Lopez family will join us! Your partnership is an important part of your child’s success, and we are excited to share all the wonderful things happening at Irene Lopez this year.
