Although last Tuesday marked the end of Healthy Aging Month, every day is an opportunity to highlight steps we can take to support the aging population.

𝗘𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 & 𝗕𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲
Balanced nutrition and regular physical activity are the foundation of healthy aging. Nutritious meals fuel the body, while daily movement strengthens muscles, supports heart health, and helps maintain independence.

𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀
Preventive care saves lives. Routine checkups, screenings, and immunizations help detect problems early when they are most treatable and ensure individuals stay on track with their health goals.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲
Healthy aging is also about safety and respect. Know the signs of elder abuse, whether physical, emotional, or financial, and speak up if you see them. Protecting older adults ensures that everyone can age with dignity.

Together, we can create communities where every individual has the opportunity to live well, longer.
