Hope Women's Center - Arizona No woman should face a crisis alone.

Hope Women's Center exists to engage, encourage and equip vulnerable women and teen girls by providing support for their spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Hope Women’s Center (Apache Junction, Coolidge, Phoenix, West Valley & Maricopa) serves women and teen girls facing any difficult life situation. Whether faced with drug/alcohol addiction, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancy, unemployment, prostitution, homelessness or family conflict, trained mentors and teachers are available to provide assistance, encouragement and support. The mission of Hope Women’s Center is to engage, encourage and equip vulnerable women and adolescent girls by providing support for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We offer a wholistic approach to the hurts of life by addressing each facet of a woman and providing her with tools and resources to discover how truly extraordinary she was made to be. Partnerships with other area service organizations allow Hope Women’s Center to help each woman access the necessary resources in order to offer hope and healing. Our four centers are located in Apache Junction, Phoenix, the West Valley and Coolidge, Arizona, with a 5th Center planned for Maricopa.

“I'm so grateful that I found you. You were the first place I connected with when I relocated to Arizona.”

After spending months in a domestic violence shelter, Joanna came to Hope Women's Center looking for more support and a fresh start. Through our counseling, job coaching, and Every Mother's Advocate programs, she found the encouragement, resources, and community she needed to grow stronger and know she was not alone.

When Joanna stopped by the center, she was excited to share that she now has a place of her own, a full-time job, and is able to care for herself and her children.

“It's still hard, but I'm doing it!”

Every woman deserves a safe place to turn, and no woman or teen girl should have to face a crisis alone. At Hope, we're committed to walking alongside women and teen girls, offering the resources, support, and encouragement they need to begin their healing journey.

Today is Purple Thursday, a day to stand with survivors of domestic violence and remind them they are not alone. 💜

At Hope Women's Center, we see the impact domestic violence has on women and their families. We wear purple to raise awareness, offer support, and reach women where they are so no woman has to face a crisis alone.

“Do you believe me?”

Nicole was looking for answers and found Hope Women’s Center online. During her visit at Hope, she shared her story of emotional, mental, and financial abuse in her marriage. She had reached out to others for help before, but instead of feeling supported, she left wondering if she was somehow responsible for the way she was being treated. After years of abuse, Nicole felt overwhelmed and unsure if anyone would believe her.

At Hope, Nicole found someone who listened, believed her, and helped her understand the resources available to her.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and at Hope, we see the lasting impact domestic violence has on women and their families. It is so important for women and teen girls experiencing abuse to have a safe place to turn.

Read Nicole's story on our blog (hopewomenscenter.org) and learn how Hope walks alongside women as they begin to heal.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, help is available 24/7. Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233 or text START to 88788 for free, confidential support.
