We need your vote to help support ABF and Arizona’s burn community!

We’re honored to announce that Arizona Burn Foundation has been selected for a grant opportunity through the Financial Credit Union’s 2026 Local Causes voting campaign.

As a statewide organization dedicated exclusively to burn prevention, recovery, and survivor support, ABF serves individuals and families across the state, ABF serves individuals and families by:

🔹 Providing no-cost smoke alarm installations and burn prevention education
🔹 Supporting burn survivors and families throughout recovery and beyond
🔹 Creating opportunities for survivors to build confidence, connection, and joy through tailored burn survivor camps
🔹 Working alongside healthcare providers, mental health professionals, first responders, community organizations, and 70+ fire departments to provide a coordinated network of lifelong support

A grant through the Arizona Financial Foundation would help us continue this important work and reach even more Arizonans.

Help Make Your Community Safer, One Smoke Alarm at a Time!

ABF’s Community Smoke Alarm Walk program brings volunteers and fire department personnel together to help protect families across Arizona. Volunteers work alongside the American Red Cross and fire service partners to install life-saving smoke alarms at no cost to the homeowners. These community walks protect families in at-risk communities and help prevent home fire deaths across the state of Arizona.

📅 Our fall Smoke Alarm Walk calendar is now available! Find a walk near you and sign up to volunteer.

Never volunteered with us before? No problem! You’ll be placed on a team, provided with training and tools, and guided every step of the way. It’s a meaningful, family-friendly way to give back and help prevent home fire deaths.

Check out the calendar and sign up today!

Supporter Spotlight: State Farm

Safer communities start with prevention.

We’re proud to recognize State Farm for its continued investment in fire prevention and community safety across Arizona. Since 2021, State Farm has partnered with the Arizona Burn Foundation to expand access to fire prevention education and resources through our Community Smoke Alarm Walk and Milo & Moxie Fire Safety Education programs.

State Farm’s most recent $45,000 grant will support three community smoke alarm walks this fall and help bring fire safety education materials to as many as 3,000 elementary school students and their families, at no cost to participating schools. 👏

Beyond financial support, State Farm volunteers alongside ABF staff and community members at smoke alarm walks throughout the season.

Elyssa Tapetillo, Corporate Responsibility Analyst with State Farm shared, “We’re proud to support Arizona Burn Foundation and their prevention work—meeting families where they are by showing up, installing free smoke alarms, and walking them through what to do next.”

We’re grateful for State Farm’s partnership and commitment to helping create safer, stronger communities across Arizona. 🙏
