We’re excited to share that our candidates Caputi For Arizona, Karen Gresham AZ, and Aaron Lieberman for Arizona are partnering with the Progressive Turnout Project’s Campaign Fellows Program. We’re looking for strong candidates from our network.

This is a paid fellowship where participants will:

Work directly with our campaign team
Gain hands-on organizing experience
Receive weekly training from the Progressive Turnout Project
Help mobilize Democratic voters in a critical election

Do you know someone who would be a great fit? We’re especially looking for people who are:

Passionate about politics and organizing
Interested in campaign work or public service
Ready to jump in and make an impact this fall

We have such a great group who joins us every week to complete tasks for LD4 and our candidates.💙 Please feel free to join them any time between 11am-2pm on Tuesdays! Otherwise, we have general office hours from 11am-4:30pm, with a notary available from 1-4pm.

We are also looking for volunteers to staff the office as activities pick up this summer. The Initiatives will have several final pushes for signature gathering and notarizing in June as they near their July 2nd due date, canvassing will be taking place for the Primary Election, we will be distributing yard signs from the office and around the LD, and we will also be starting our Ballot Guide Project, beginning with addressing envelopes. Mondays are for peacefully protesting outside Representative David Schweikert's office! Join us from 8-9am, and bring non-perishable food, personal care, and/or household items for Scottsdale Foodbank, a letter or postcard message to drop off at Schweikert's office, and signs, especially with calls to action. Scottsdale residents!

On January 14, 2025 — the very first meeting of the new City Council — the 4-member majority's first act was to gut Scottsdale's Sustainability Plan. Residents packed that chamber. We asked them to pause and listen, and they didn't.

Then on February 11, 2025, it got worse. The council voted 5-2 to completely dismantle Scottsdale's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs — shutting down the Office of Diversity and Inclusion without a second thought for the residents and city employees those programs serve.

Two meetings. Two gut punches. Zero interest in hearing from the people they were elected to represent.

This isn't governance. This is ideology run amok — and it's costing our community dearly.

We refuse to wait two more years to change the direction of our City. Barry Graham is running for re election in November, but Jan Dubauskas will be in office until 2028.

That's why residents have launched a recall of Councilmember Jan Dubauskas. Recall campaigns live and die by momentum, volunteers, and signatures — and we need all three RIGHT NOW.
