The City of Phoenix is following CDC guidelines, effective August 2, 2021, a mask or face covering will be required when inside a city facility, regardless of vaccination status. The Museum galleries and buildings including restrooms will be open at 75% capacity as of July 20, 2021.

Join us at 6 PM on October 8, 2026, for the opening reception of our newest changing exhibit 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨. Explore the wonders of the museum and get an early look of the new exhibit!

𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 will highlight the complexity of ten Indigenous artists in America in the 21st century. These artists explore issues of sovereignty, commodification, the right to cultural expression in public spaces, and the ancestral stories passed down through the generations that speak to identity in generations that speak to identity in both personal and collective ways.

This evening’s public programming at S’edav Va’aki Museum includes a viewing of the new exhibit, music by a DJ, and a special performance.

It’s Field Trip season so grab your hat and hiking shoes for an academic adventure! S’ed̲av Va’aki Museum is officially accepting field trip booking requests for up to six months in advance!

Your class can visit the museum starting at $3 per student; and every 7 students in your booking grants one free chaperone.

Get ready as S’ed̲av Va’aki Museum transitions to its fall opening hours! Now open late on Thursday evenings; open from 9 AM – 4 PM Friday, Saturday, and Monday; limited hours from 12 PM to 4 PM on Sundays. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The new weekly schedule and admission rates will officially take effect when the museum reopens on September 3rd, 2026.

Exercise your creativity and join us in our Community Room on September 17 to try your hand at using unconventional materials to make some artwork beautifully emulating the colors of the desert. This family-friendly activity is free!

Visit the museum and archaeological site at our Thursday Evening reduced admission from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm!
