Big news from CREST Bioscience! Paradise Valley High School junior Sophia is making a powerful difference by raising awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a rare genetic neuromuscular disorder.

Her dedication and advocacy have made an impact far beyond the classroom. In honor of her incredible work, Governor Hobbs has officially declared September 7 as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day in Arizona.

is incredibly proud of Sophia and the difference she is already making in her community. Her passion, perseverance, and commitment to raising awareness are an inspiring example of how students can use their education to make a difference. 🙌

Congratulations are in order for the Paradise Valley High School (PVHS) Tri-M Music Honor Society! They were named 2025-26 Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter of the Year following an incredible series of impactful community service projects.

The talented student-musicians hosted educational field trips, performed at assemblies at Palomino Intermediate and Whispering Wind Academy to inspire future band, choir, and orchestra students, and organized a benefit concert that raised over $1,500 for Make-A-Wish Arizona! ❤️
