🚴 550 miles. Six days. One mission: Bringing hope to people experiencing homelessness.

Earlier this month, Paul Mulligan, our President and CEO, completed his portion of the Ride Across America, cycling from San Diego to Tucson to raise awareness and funds for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Through challenging climbs, desert heat and long days on the road, Paul was reminded why every mile matters. A difficult journey looks different when you have people beside you, encouraging you and helping you keep moving forward. For many people experiencing homelessness, that support can make all the difference.

That’s what our teams strive to provide every day as we walk alongside people on their journey toward safety, stability and lasting solutions.

For Jennifer and her son Sam, finding safety was just the beginning. 💜

With support from My Sisters’ Place and Pathways, Jennifer was able to take important steps toward independence while she and Sam received counseling to begin healing. After months of hard work, they now have a home of their own and a more stable future ahead.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month reminds us that support can be an important step toward safety and independence. 💜

For Sharelle, Pathways provided that support. Advocates helped her create an exit plan, access transportation and move-in assistance, and find support as she navigated the divorce process. Today, she is using her voice to advocate for other survivors.

We’re so grateful to have community partners who share our passion for serving and strengthening our neighbors.
We recently welcomed Alejandra from St. Vincent de Paul to our Acacia Heights property. It was wonderful to welcome her and share more about the work happening there. In return, Alejandra invited our team to tour St. Vincent de Paul’s facility, giving us a chance to learn more about their hard work and our shared commitment to serving our community.
We feel fortunate to work alongside organizations with the same heart for service!

We’re grateful for the seminarians who spent their Saturday serving alongside us at our CARE Campus in Mesa!

From preparing the Día de los Mu***os altar and helping us prepare for our annual Christmas Wish distribution to landscaping and lending a hand where needed, their time and generosity made for a meaningful day of service. Thank you for putting faith into action and partnering with us to serve our community!

Behind every donation is a family with a story who is facing a unique set of challenges. For these families, donations of everyday essentials not only provide financial relief but also act as a reminder that someone cares.

A generous donation from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church supported more than 100 families in our Nurturing Parenting and Family Connections programs. The donated diapers, hygiene products, cleaning supplies and household essentials helped reduce stress on our families, allowing them to focus on other needs and make a fresh start.

Thank you to the incredible volunteers who came together for a day of service at MANA House!

Together, they assembled more than 12 starter kits, 25 hygiene kits and 12 Welcome Home Kits, while also organizing donations and helping serve lunch. We are so appreciative of their time and hard work, in helping provide support for veterans at MANA House.

Last week, our My Sisters’ Place and Pathways teams joined community partners for the 12th Annual Lighting Arizona Purple. We’re proud to stand alongside organizations across Arizona working to support survivors and help individuals and families access safety, resources and a path toward greater stability.

We’re grateful for the Brophy freshmen who spent their Day of Service with us!

Each student rolled up their sleeves across our programs, helping organize toys, books and program supplies at Rosewood, prepare community spaces and donations at Acacia Heights and clean at our Care Campus in Mesa.

Their time and hard work helped support the spaces where we serve our community. Thank you, Brophy College Preparatory, for continuing to partner with us in service to others!
