Join the Friends for a peek into the paranormal on September 16 at 6 pm at the Phillipsburg Free Public Library. Author L'Aura Hladik Hoffman is the Founder and Director of the New Jersey Ghost Hunters Society. She has written about her experiences in "Ghosthunting New Jersey,""Ghosthunting New York City," and "Ghosts of the Poconos".

Today's the day! Be part of our "cool" fundraiser and stop by the Stewartville Rita's on 519 anytime between noon and 10pm. Mention the "Friends of the Library" or show the flyer and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the Friends...which translates into extra funds for supplies and programs!

Take a friend out at lunch, treat the kids after school, or surprise your partner after work.

6:30-8:00 pm
Come out with family or friends or on your own to meet the Friends. Bring a chair if you'd like to "tailgate" with us.

Dino shenanigans accomplished at the kick-off of the 2026 Summer Reading Program at the Phillipsburg Free Public Library today.

The Friends are proud to support Unearth a Story this year and provide educational programs for children and families.

Restocked the little library at Shappell Park tonight (5/4). Some very early-reader picture books, a few nice hardcover cookbooks, and some softcover fiction.

Anyone can drop gently-used books at a little library to keep books, knowledge and imagination flowing through our community!
