Good evening.

In regards to the recent press release that Hope Fire Company recently released, Reliance Fire Company will be making no comment at this time. We will be releasing information in the near future on our decision, the reasons behind it, and additional details. We are saddened that, as we have had to make decisions after we had already prepared and mailed out our yearly mailers, we could have better prepared and adjusted those mailers accordingly. We are hopeful that you will understand that our moves in the future are aligned with our mission statement and commitment to serve those in our community and mutual aid areas. We sincerely wish the Hope and Chester Hill Fire Companies the best on their future joint endeavor.

Thank you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters fighting and helping with the wildfires in Southern California and also all those that have been affected. But this especially hits home as La Verne Fire Company, where Truck 57 is originally from, is out helping with the Eaton Fire.

Engine 763 is currently assigned to the Eaton Fire and stationed at Brackett Airport, which is being used as the incident’s helibase. Our crew is providing critical fire protection and safety support for helicopter operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely on the ground.

We’re proud to play a role in supporting firefighting efforts both in the air and on the ground. Great work, Engine 763! 💪🔥
